During the pandemic, we were on the frontline. We remained opened throughout enabling us to respond quickly to the needs of our local community in a timely manner. As a result of experiencing a significant increase in the number of our service users, we created a model and an innovative volunteer-led food and welfare distribution system to aid people in isolation, those who were home-bound as a precautionary measure, those with underlying health conditions and those within our reach facing hardship as a result of the outbreak of the pandemic. We provided food, clothing, toiletries, beddings and mattresses, and other essential household items.

To date, Individuals and families are getting help on a daily basis. Family workers, support workers and health visitors continue refer and sometimes collect items on behalf of their clients.
